A dead battery, a stolen phone, or a camera that won’t work doesn’t just inconvenience you and it happens at the worst possible time. This campaign uses familiar phone notifications popping up in real moments to show how quickly everything can go wrong. Because when your phone stops working, it’s not just your phone.

Event Idea: The AKKO Drop Test

People are overconfident with their phones. They think: ”It’ll be fine.”

So, AKKO creates a live experience that puts that confidence to the test.

  • Drop location in public area (park, campus, mall)

  • Participants receive a prop phone and several cases/screen protectors to choose from to build a protective solution.

  • Phones are then dropped one by one until final 3.

  • Winner receives a year of AKKO coverage, new phone, etc.

  • Clips from this event would be great for reels and social reposting. #beatthedrop for example

  • This will prove that no matter how much you protect your phone, it can still break, and AKKO will be there to pick up the pieces.
