Thermacell is a mosquito protection brand that creates a zone of defense to keep mosquitoes away without the need for sprays or lotions. Thermacell Patio Shield takes the pressure off parents by handling mosquito protection for them, so they can focus on everything else. This campaign uses familiar childhood rules and flips them onto mosquitoes, showing how Thermacell enforces the rules so parents don’t have to. By making bug control feel playful and relatable, the brand highlights what really matters. Keeping kids protected without adding another task to a parent’s already busy list.

Event Idea: #backyardmakeover
Thermacell selects 50 families (via social media submissions made under #backyardmakeover) who have shared a quick video of their kid describing their dream backyard adventure and the parents describing their backyard rules (some serious and some comical).
A “Hero Crew” (branded van + small crew) shows up unannounced at the family’s home to transform the backyard into a fully themed, bug-free play zone, accompanied by a sign with the backyard rules that were submitted by the winning family.
